Brian Rose, Senior Partner, Stikeman Elliott LLP

Brian Rose is a senior partner with Stikeman Elliott's corporate-commercial section in Toronto and is internationally recognized as a leader in the corporate insurance sector.

His practice is focused primarily in the areas of corporate finance, insurance, privatizations, and mergers and acquisitions, with particular emphasis on financial institutions, including the banking and insurance industries.

He is frequently involved in transactions having an international aspect and has acted as an advisor to various governmental agencies.

Education
Queen’s University (LL.B. 1974), McGill University (B.Comm, L.I.A. 1967). Mr. Rose is also a Chartered Accountant qualified in Québec and Ontario.

Background
Mr. Rose worked in the London office of Stikeman Elliott from 1978 to 1983 and in the firm’s New York office from 1983 to 1986.
