Richard Gauthier, FCIA FCAS MAAA, is the Partner in charge of the Actuarial Insurance Management Services for PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries with twenty years of experience.  His background encompasses reinsurance, public automobile plans, professional liability programs and personal and commercial insurance, as well as managing an information and technology department. He consults to private companies and government.

Mr. Gauthier earned a Bachelor of Actuarial Science at Université Laval, in Ste Foy, Québec. He is a member of the Canadian Actuarial Standards Board.
