Until recently Carol was the Vice President of Claims Services for the TD Insurance Group of companies including home, auto, travel, life and health insurance claims across Canada, ensuring TD Insurance met the expectations of its customers when they need insurance the most, at time of claim.  
Prior to joining the TD Bank Financial Group, Carol was with The CUMIS Group as the President and COO, CUMIS General and Canadian Northern Shield Insurance.  With an extensive Executive career in insurance, she has lead the Personal Insurance and Claims operations of Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance companies, working in claims both domestically and globally; as well as with Allianz Canada as the Senior Vice President, Underwriting and Marketing.

 A Fellow Chartered Insurance Professional of the Insurance Institute of Canada, Carol was honored with the Fellow of Distinction in 2011.  She currently is Vice Chair of CANATICS, an industry member organization dedicated to deterring insurance crime.
Carol has served as a Director on the Boards of Concentra Financial, Concentra Trust as well as a Governor of the Joseph Brant Hospital.  She has also chaired the Advisory Board of the Institute For Catastrophic Loss Reduction (ICLR) and Smartrisk (dedicated to injury prevention).

Carol has earned her Canadian Risk Manager's certification, completed the Queen’s Executive Management Program, and is a graduate in Chemical Engineering from Seneca College of Applied Sciences in Toronto, Ontario.
